Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a nice timer to keep my lighting times constant. What do you all use? Price range?
Thanks everyone!

Make sure you buy a timer that is rated higher (AMP wise) then what you're using it for. I use the electronic timer b/c it's more reliable. I paid about $10 for mine from Wal-Mart, but it might have been b/c of a clearance. I think the electronic timer are about $20 from HOme Depot.
The timer that use pin(s) to trip it on and off sometime get stuck in one setting.
Look at all those live rocks on the beach at Florida's state park!
I went through a bunch of timers from Home Depot and Lowe's and they all sucked. Finally I spent the 50 bucks for an icecap timer and have been happy ever since. It took me a long time because I didn't want to spend $50 on a timer but really I ended up spending more than that on cheapy ones that only worked for a few months at best.
I've used an Intermatic electronic timer on many occassions (sp) It has several on and off programs and is a grounded unit. The unit appears to be very dependable.
