Default Do Mynthex Crabs Reproduce in Home Aquariums?

I have seen something that has left me shocked. I just saw one of my Mynthex Crabs open its bottom half and release some floating bubbles that started swimming. It got me by surprise, and then saw my fish get extremely exited and started eating them. After a few seconds my lights turned off and decided to leave them off cause that may save a few of them. Could they be baby crabs? I had never seen this and I am not sure if it is possible for these crabs to reproduce in captivity. Have any of you had this type of experience and if so, will these grow into real Mynthex Crabs? Thank you all who read this post and even if you have never had this experience please post a comment on this.

    Sincerely,
    Fabian

It seems that I really messed up this time. The name of this crab is: Emerald Crab
    Mithrax Sculptus

They will reproduce pretty readily - raising the larvae is the tough part - I believe they have a pelagic - free floating stage for some time before settling out like many crustaceans so raising them to adulthood might be a real challenge. Finding suitable food is also a big hurdle in raising marine larva.
