I had my new sand in the tank, and filled it with new salt water about half way, threw about half of my rock, and let the sand settle(the sand is all new, seeded with some of my old sand). I put all my soft corals, snails, hermits, star fish and shrimp in the nano, and my hard corals and a two fish in a 20G rubbermaid tub with tank water and a small powerhead. The clown/anemone and the blenny with his barnacle shell in a salt bucket with tank water and a powerhead. After the sand settled, I put the rest of the old tank water in, filled my refug. with the more sand from the old tank, and started the pumps and heaters. After the water was warmed up, and fairly clear, I started acclimating fish to it. The next day I put in the soft corals, snails and hermits, they all looked good last night, and are opeing up good again today, so I added the SPS's(all I have right now is frags) this moring, and they are already getting good polyp extentions and the ones that lost color are coloring back up after about 1-2 hrs. Hope that helps, I gotta go wire a MH up, so at least half of the tank has good lighting on it...cs
