    Default Green Clown Goby

I hope this purchase was not a mistake. I fell in love with a cute little clown goby and purchased him without doing my homework first. I put him in my 12 gal tank and he was always against the glass and would jet around like he wanted to get out. He looked stressed to me. I have 2 cleaner shrimp and some blue chromis in the 12 gal.

I have had him since Saturday and he has not eaten :(

I decide to move him to my reef tank, I do have small animals he could eat if he wants in there, but I have no such life in the 12 gal. I have a Bi-color Blenny, 2 clowns and a larger orange wrasse( I think he's called eight line) He is over 2 inchs long in the reef tank.

I put him in the reef tank and he is hidding, which I guess is normal for these fish.

My worry, is that I will not be able to get him to eat and that I will not even know if he's eating.

Does anyone have one of these guys?

Any suggestions on how to get them to eat?

Been trying to feed brime shrimp, and sweetwater Zooplankton, I'm going to try and get some live food today.

I love this little fish, and I really hope he makes it.

I realize it was wrong to purchase him on a wim. He's just so cute..

well I have a yellow clown goby somewere in my tank I got him when we went to Houston, I have not seen him since I put him in my tank well after 2 days later, but if you what I have some garlic extract I can give you to get your goby to eat, just dip brine shrimp in it and he will eat, live brine seems to be hard to find in Austin no wonder why?

    Default Thank you

I will keep trying to feed him. I do have garlic extract, thank you Joshua
    for the offer.

I'm going to try and find some live brime shrimp. I'm glad I moved him to the reef tank, maybe he'll have a better chance, he can eat pods until I can get him on other food.

I plan on ordering some pods and things from Indo-Pacific Sea Farms in the next week or so.

Wish me luck, he's really a cute fish.
