Thread: Local source for Fulham Workhorse ballasts?

Default Local source for Fulham Workhorse ballasts?

I've checked a few lighting supply stores and most of them are full of fruity chandeliers and not real electronic stuff, checked home depot and the bozos at tinkertronics also. Any ideas? I want a workhorse 7 to run 2 x 40 watt actinics on my 75.

Also, anyone know someone local who carries the Osram blue bulbs?

    Thanks,

    -MP

There used to be a place out by the Air Port in San Antonio. I think it was call Alamo City Lights or something like that. Off of Broadway up north of 410. Don't know if they're still around or not. They had lots of lighting setups.

I've checked a few places for this ballast, and they all have to order it, and its real expensive. I think Premium sells them cheap, and there are wiring diagrams on the fulham website.

If you're ever in Dallas, you can get them (in stock) at Lights Fantastic on Greenville. I bought a couple Workhorse 5's there for $19 each. I would like to know a local source, though, just in case....
