What a B-Day present - Heading to Austin on Friday

After reading last weekends Austin Adventure I convinced my wife to let my son skip school and we all take a trip to Austin to check out the stores from the adventure. (Had to barter off my B-day for this and what a deal I get).

Lets see I am hoping to meet up with Tim in Cedar Park, going to Aquatek and Austin Aquariums, need to see if Jim Norris is going to be around on Friday also.

I need some corals as well as about another 50 lbs. of live rock and some live sand. Would love to talk to someone about grow out tank concepts.

We will be in the Austin area all day Friday. I also have to go by Harly for my wife and son.

Any ideas on a grow out tank would be great. I am thinking a 55 or 75 gallon with sump and refugium (never made either but am looking for plans on both). Probably Metal Halide as I have VHO's now.

Any ideas on a grow out tank would be great.

What do you want to grow? If you're growing SPS, you usually want to raise the tank by using Egg Crate from Home Depot:

This tank will be for SPS. I saw your picture and could not see the crates below. I have another tank for polyps and shrooms nearly ready so I figured that it was time to start on the new grow out tank.

Any ideas on a sump\refugium?
