    Default Gold Stripe Maroon Clowns

My maroon is starting to get gold bands through his white area's. Do the maroons normally grow into theirs gold stripes or are they born that way?

Gold striped can look white. Consider yourself lucky if you only paid for a regular maroon.

yeah, goldstripe are more desirable and more expensive. Last time I try to get a mate for my goldstripe maroon, I was quoted $30 for a goldstripe. Needless to say, I left my goldstripe as a single bachelor.

Im not sure what he was purchased as. I got him, a damsel, some sand and rock on a trade for some car audio stuff from my buddy in Iowa. The damsel died but he made it(contrary to my normal luck, the more expensive fish lived...hehe).

Anyways, hopefully the gold will fill in darker, right now, its kinda faint.
