no,no,no. youve gone about this all the wrong way. you see...what you SHOULD do is break down the tank again(completely. water, rocks, and all) disassemble the ballast. clean the tank a bit. pack it nicely into some boxes. and set it right outside of my door where 150 bucks will be eagerly awaiting your arrival right beneath my doormate for a trade! :-D :lol2: :skeezy:

no but seriously. that truly is one of the best deals i have read about on this message board. congratulations are in order to someone who was able to pull that off.

you're probably fine(like tim said) with leaving it empty but since you were obviously curious about it you might want to check out some research papers written about bioballs that i had read i think on reefcentral.com(sorry i cant remember exactly)but they described all the pros and cons of bioballs in your tank system.
