So who here has had, or currently has an Anthia?
Some of them are quite beautiful and certain species will even school.

I find anthias delicate....except maybe the familiar Pink Square....
I keep tangs...therefore I avoid anthias...
as a whole the anthias are a delicate species. they're a few exceptions including my favorite out of the bunch the lyretail anthias (squamipinnis). they're hardy once established in a tank, readily eat a varied diet, and can be kept in groups in a large tank. only one male to a group of females depending how big the tank is.
I get in the Lyretails occasionally and they usually do very well. The other species are supposed to be much harder to keep.

I had a lyretail for about 6 months and I went out of town for a week and my roomate forgot to feed for about three days. The lyretail died in that time period, they constantly need food.
