    Default Acrylic tank dim.

Hey I'm think about making a smaller (frag) tank so that when I sell my 180 I can keep the refugium and some frags off of each of my corals. Has anyone seen tanks with these Dimensions; 3 ft long, 2.5 ft wide, 1.5 ft tall or 2.5 ft long, 2.5 ft wide, 1.5 ft tall.
If I build this tank I'm going to put one 400 watt Mh (unless I come up on a good deal for small Mh pendants) and maybe 2x 55 watt pc actinics.
The larger tank would be 80 gallons and the smaller one 70 gallons my current refugium is a 50 gallon 2'x 2'x1.5' (mangrove and caluerpa)

    What do you guys think.

You so funny. I'm thinking about fragging some of my corals before I sell them. Any more info on those T-5 bulbs Tim?

T-5 bulbs are out if that is what you are asking. I can't remember which website it was, but I saw them listed. Only a regular daylight and an actinic bulb were available. Vihn has an actinic on his tank if I remember correctly.

I only have T8 Actinic, which are much brighter then T12. As long as they don't get damaged during shipping, I should have T5 daylight and actinic in about a week or two.

Here's the price so far. They're cheaper then buying 96W PC bulbs already. So, price should come down even as they become mainstream in the US.

LED's are getting more and more use all the time. Used in flashlights and automobile lights as well. Would be nice to have a light where you don't have to replace the bulb every few months!
