    Default Sea Swirls

Is it possible to hook up the Sea Swirl to the Eheim 2028 Canister Filter :?

Anything is possible.... but how much flow comes out of the filter?

    EDIT:

Nevermind.... found it.. 277 US gallons/hr. output.

That's about half of the suggested max output for the 1/2" Sea Swirl. If you could find one cheap like what Vinh had i'd say go for it. On the other hand, if you're thinking of buying a brand new one i'd say find something a little cheaper with more flow.

You can get a Reeftec PE-1 kit for $40-55. The pump you have to buy seperately so that's another $50. That's a lot cheaper than a brand new Sea Swirl and it'll push a lot of water. The recommended minimum size is a 4 foot long tank. If you want higher quality for about the same price as the Sea Swirl check out the Tunze Turbelle stream. I'm planning on getting one of these to add to my tank.

No problem Tina. Mine are setup now so if you'd like to come take a look at the Sea Swirls you're welcome to stop by. I'm about 5 minutes away from you up Tezel and to the left behind Braun Station.
