Taking pics of stuff is fun :P

I spent the morning putting together, installing, setting up the computer i'm using to control the lights for my tank.


My computer system in pieces... On the left you can kind of see the huge powersupply i'm using while installing everything. Beside it, you can see the IBM multiport whatever thing that gives me an added serial port, parrallel port, and 5 more USB ports. I need it because the flex-atx motherboard doesn't have an onboard serial port. (The X10 setup uses the serial port to control my lights)


The sole reason I bought this motherboard. For $30 + shipping I get a small flex-ATX motherboard plus wireless keyboard... on the top right of the keyboard is the mouse. Towards the top of the pic hanging out of the case you can see the receiver for the keyboard.


Here's a shot of the program running on the computer screen that controls the lights.


Blue LED's are cool. 8)


Close up shot of the little part that plugs into the serial port. It works wirelessly to turn lights on and off.
