Red slime algae in a low nutrient tank !!!
Any reefers had ever experienced this . My tank has ultra low nutrients with 0 PO4 and minimum nitrates . I am dealing with red slime algae from last month or so maybe because of lack in husbandry as I am always out but I do do water changes religiously and that's doesn't seem to help . It has killed my nice blasto colony and affecting my Sps . I am leaving out of town again over the weekend and a bit concern now .I have never ran carbon or any other filter source besides protein skimmer and now thinking about running active carbon or maybe but hate to use the product called red slime remover . Any thoughts
