I have done a bunch of searching on this subject and didn't really find anything that satisfied my questions. I am getting ready to purchase something in the next day or two and was wondering a few things. I heard that if you put chemipure in it should be replaced about every 4 months (if you keep up on water changes). How often do people change out chemipure elite? My assumption is you would have to change it out earlier because the carbon in the chemipure would be used up faster then 4 months. If this is the case, does it make more sense to get chemipure and carbon rather then elite so you can keep the chemipure in for its 4 monnths and replace the carbon at shorter increments? Hopefully this isn't too confusing. Thanks for your input.
