    Default Icky Sticky Worms

    I previously saw one of these attached to a snail.
    After consulting Chuck's Addiction I decided they most closely resembled Medusa Worms and here

    I threw it back in. I just retrieved a piece of macro algae and was caught by the icky sticky worms!

    Now I am reconsidering.

    Are they really medusa worms? Are they supposed to be sticky? Are they really harmless?
