That would be the mise en place of all my rocks. Post cure. I had just finished changing my water and was getting ready to move them back into it while waiting for my frame to be built. That is a 5 gallon bucket of salt.

This is the actual tank, in dire need of a good cleaning. I hope to clean all the plumbing and items that came with the tank next weekend and maybe have the tank stand.

This is a close up of the rocks that we think are nifty and which have some sort of purple color. I still don't know if it's purple algae considering we cured them without any added light and moved it into the bad yard in the last couple of weeks.

Close up of some of the purple color, it's not as brilliant as in person. Plus it shows some of the little stringy things that cover a few of the rocks. I think maybe the previous owner had something growing on them and the stringy items died. After the initial scrub I was only able to get some but since then they've softened up.

That is my current water curing setup. with my heater, and water pump submerged for circulation. The thermometer is resting on the folded rug. That is a 42 gallon rubbermaid.

I still haven't decided on building the stand using this website: http://garf.org/calculators/BuildLargeStand_2.asp

Or buying one. I really don't know where I'd buy one and my birthday is this week. So I might just ask the wife to save the effort and find a place that sells them in the area. Sadly it'd have to be delivered since I have a tiny little car. Maybe I should price both methods first.
