I went to the coast last weekend with my family. I set GCReef on the GPS on the way there, since I was driving they were taken hostage and forced to go with me.

My dad was excited about the detour, at least, and insisted on buying me a fish. Mom isn't really into the fishy stuff, but even she enjoyed it when she saw the nursery tanks. So many cute babies! I fell in love with that black tang, what a spunky little thing. He's got so much personality, too bad he's still a little camera shy.

The black tang would be asking a bit much as an impulse gift, so I settled on a baby blue hippo tang. I miss having a tang's personality in my tank, but they're usually too big for me to feel comfortable with them in a 90. This little guy is so itty bitty I can enjoy him for a few years before getting him a new home.

I was really impressed with GCReef. Everything was so clean, the selection was great, prices were clearly marked, the staff (sorry didn't catch her name!) was very helpful without being overbearing. Whenever I'm in town, I'll be sure to stop in.

If the employee who owns the 10g up front ever wants to cut a piece off that green finger leather, let me know. ;)
