Does anybody else get the urge to start maintenance when they get to fish stores?

It varies from store to store of course but I can't look at a tank without the urge to clean it.

Most importantly of course: removal of carcasses. I wish I could just swing by twice a week and remove all the dead stuff. It's so unappealing. I am sure it's just part of the business but it really bothers me - especially when they stay in there long enough to see the carcass again a couple of weeks later.
Obviously I can't ask: hey, do you mind if I reach in there and fling that dead mandarin in the trash? That would be weird!

Or algae. Massive amounts of algae just trigger that pruning reflex in me.

On rare occasion I feel compelled to bring a shop vac and just focus on the shop floor.

My house isn't that tidy and I don't get that way at other kinds of stores but I see fish tanks and I just want to roll up my sleeves...
