Mantis striking video - Biologist Sheila Patek
From the TED workshop:
Biologist Sheila Patek talks about her work measuring the feeding strike of the mantis shrimp, one of the fastest movements in the animal world, using video cameras recording at 20,000 frames per second.
I found this on another forum, but thought some of you interested in Mantis shrimp could enjoy this 18 min video, grab a drink
TED is a yearly conference of folks sharing ideas, a large think tank, if you will.
