So I bought a lawnmower blenny a week ago today. When I first acclimated him to my tank he was everywhere and actually started to pick at some of the hair algae I was trying to get rid of. Next day though things seemed to change.

Ever since the first day he tends to just hang out on one side of the tank in the rock work. I can still see him and he will come out ocassionally but never to the front of the tank. He kind of just goes up and down with his reflection in the glass (probably looking for a way to escape) then heads back to his hiding spot.

I am worried because a lot of my hair algae is actually dying off and I am sure he doesn't want that nasty stuff. I have tried to target feed him but he won't budge. What should I do? I have a very healthy cuc and don't want him to starve because there is not enough for him to eat.

He is about 3'' long and shares the tank with a true perc and yellow watchman that stay on the other side of the tank . They are fine and seem to get along very well.

Parameters:

Marc
