can wire go under water?
My Hawaiian Red Feather Duster shot out of it's tube, and I need to make a protective holding 'box' for it in a hurry.
Water quality is fine, he didn't even drop his crown. I knew he was going to to exit the tube because it was busting at the seams, he has has simply outgrown it.
I tried burrying him in the sand last night, but all the wiggling he does in forming a new tube unearthed him. I found him at the back of the tank this morning. Not good! He's too pretty to be back there.
I can't find any vinyl mesh in the garage, or pvc scraps, or any of my usual project stuff. I do have a big roll of galvanized pet mesh, the stuff rabbit cages are made of.
Can this go in the tank for any length of time? It might take him days to make a new tube, he's a big fella.
How about for at least 10 hours, while I work and stop the Depot? Or do I need to think of something else? Any ideas?
