    Default live sand, sugar fine oolite and crushed coral, reduced

    $120.00 takes it all!!!

    I've got about 11 gallons (about 2500 cubic inches, or 130 lbs, aproximately) of sugar fine and special oolite mixed. I think the larger grains help to hold the smaller grains in place. $100.00 takes it all. It has been rinsed once. It could use more rinsing. It's in 5 5 gallon buckets about 1/2 full. It's wet with salt water to try to keep it alive. There's probably some anaerobic (smelly) stuff deeper down in it so beware.

    I also have about 5 gallons (about 1155 cubic inches, or 60 lbs, aproximately) of crushed coral. It has some finer sand, maybe special grade, mixed in with it to increase surface area and make smaller the interstices. $70.00 takes it all. It's in two 5 gallon buckets and is wet with salt water. Again, It has been rinsed a little and could use alot more. And, there's probably some anaerobic (smelly) stuff deeper down in it so beware.

    I'm in north S.A.

    Big whorls have little whorls, Which feed on their velocity;
    And little whorls have lesser whorls, And so on to viscosity
