Getting a new tank.
I am really excited about a new tank I am putting on my desk at work. It will be a 3 gal saltwater with about 5 lbs of live rock and a large cluster of mushrooms pictured. It has a carbon overflow filter and an 18w light for coral. I know it will be tough to keep the parameters right but I plan on weekly water changes. I will be using the water from my 125 gal. I think if I do that it will be easier to keep it close to the ideal parameters. I am going to set it up using sand and rock and water from my home system. So there should be little to no wait time.
--I know I want my coral, I was thinking a small anemone and a small clown.
--Or my fuzzy lion. I know the lion requires more room as an adult but mine is very young and small. I think at his small size he would be ideal for this tank. I could remove him when he got too big.
--or a set of dwarf seahorses.
--a goby
--a hawkfish.
-- too many species to think about.
I am guessing this is big enough only for one fish…
275 gal, loving my new stand.
Always looking for big fish.
