Harvest Classic rally time again...
As a reminder to those that ride the motorbikes, it's just about time to attend the Harvest Classic rally in Luckenbach.

Straight to the point.. I know several of the members here at MAAST are avid riders. I've been mentioning this rally for 3 years and have yet to find any of you there. It's time to make your presence. Oh I know who you are.
As I do every year, I have yet again sponsored the event at the highest level possible, Platinum. This will make year 5 of the 6 that the rally has been around. Last year I completely restored a Vespa small frame scooter from the ground up. Every nut, bolt, cable, tire, everything was replaced and modernized. The raffle drew in donations unimaginable to the organizers. So again this year I decided that donating another bike might bring in more donations than just another injection of my cash.
This years raffle bike will be a very low mileage 1968 Yamaha YAS1C. This is a very rare, one year only, 125cc twin 2 stroke street scrambler. The motor is currently being rebuilt by myself including new gaskets, clutches, pistons, and rings. The carburetors are being rebuilt using only Genuine (as most all parts used are) Yamaha NOS or current Yamaha manufacture parts. Included in the build will be new fork seals, chain, sprockets, tires, tubes, rim strips, battery, brakes, hoses, etc.. The paint is original patina. The chrome is in very good condition for a 40 year old bike. Basically a great little bike. I'd like to thank Bill and William Kasson at Kasson Motorsports for helping me with locating parts.
So come out and help support families that have been stricken with the reality of pediatric cancers, come support your love of bikes, come see the movies, come visit with old friends and don't forget to purchase raffle tickets and win my bike.
Mike.
