120gal Stand - Rebuild
Alright, after the Reef-teardown I have been in 'WIGT (When I got time)' mode on converting the old stand into something functional for freshwater.
The stand has been sanded, wood conditioned, and sanded again. As of now, the wife and I are deciding on the color of wood for the Living/Dinning floor, which I plan to stain the stand accordingly.
Here is the before and semi-after shots:
Old stand; saltwater functional:

New stand w/canopy; freshwater functional:
- Kept the original Oceanic stand, used in the saltwater stand design.
- Reduced 10 inches on the bottom and 11 inches from the top.
- Re-paneled from 1/3 to 3/4 Birch wooden boards.
- Two sections; canopy and stand.
- Crown molding, fancy trimming, and formal accents.
- Re-created all swing doors.
- Added side-blinds to hide right/left corner overflow chambers; old Oceanic design.
