Just 2... They don't live for ever ya know. One will almost certainly kick the bucket within the first month. How about 5 or 6? Another alternative would be to give you some of the smaller ones so that you can put more in. The more Peps to search and destroy those pesky aiptasia, the better. They are aound in inch in size. LMK what you want to do.

On a side note: Ever since my tank has been up (Oct. 23, 2006), I've had peppermint shrimp in there. They were the normal part of the clean up crew I would order from Reeftopia.com. Well, I have Never Ever seen Aiptasia in my tank or refugium (No Peps in my fuge as they will wipe out my pods). I used to buy 10 of them for $4 a peice because I thought it would be way to difficult to catch them. Plus I thought that it was a long drive to Port Aransas and a long walk to the end of the jetties which is about 1/2 a mile I think, but it all gets shorter everytime I go.
