A new 30g cube w/stand ,corallife150w MH, moonlight, tunze skimmer/box filter. Anyway So
I set it up and let it cycle for about a week, then added everything from the other tank including the HOB skimmer/Refuge. The tank never had a ammonia, or nitrite ****es, which I thought was really cool. I tested the water every other day and everything is good so far. Nothing died from the move. but I did have a peppermint shrimp eat my new crocea clam (I got for Christmas) the night I put it in. Anyway About a week ago I added prodibio and a seahare to see if it would eat the remaining hair algea that was transfered over from the nano. A few days later my lawnmower blennie die, from what I think was starvation. After doing some online reading, I found out they only like small hair algea, and one of the first things prodibio effects is small hair algea. But the good news is the green algea that I was cleaning off the glass everyday has disappeared, and the water looks alot cleaner. I do have some diatoms behind the rocks but only a small amount, I'm guessing it's coming from the hair algea dieing off, or the two hour light increase. I do a 10% weekly water change,
and dose b-ionics 2 part daily.
