First of all I had never heard of them dying a anenome! Thats messed up! Anyways from what I can find out so far going from the foot of the anenome that I have it is possibly a ritteri that has been dyed. Ok so question here is will this guy live? His tentacles are good and sticky and he looks pretty heathly so hoping he will survive. I read that they are very hard to keep and thats not the best thing for me :( but I do atleast have a pretty mature tank (4yrs maybe?) with good lighting. I have two 40W NO actnic that are on for 12hrs, one 10K 250W MH that is on for 10hrs and one 6500K 175w that is on for 6hrs a day all on a 55g tank. I am having good luck with sps corals and very good and stable water parameters so atleast maybe I have a fighting chance with this guy. Any suggestions on keeping a Ritteri anenome succesfully? Thanks for all the help so far!
