    Default Fire fish have worms coming out of them

    Just bought two pair of fire fish and when I brought them home I noticed worms coming out of their gills what can I do to treat them should I not even put them in my tank what should I do??? I put them and our RODI water for about two minutes to see if that would kill them, what's yawls advice

    get a cleaner wrasse maybe it will help

    Pazipro is what they use to get rid of worms in sand dwelling wrasses. Might try that.

    I would hold off on putting them in the tank.

    I feel bad I just have them sitting in the bowl I don't have a quarantine tank don't want them to die

    I would look at the big picture and not introduce them to the tank. first fire fish are very shy and will prob stay off the radar of a cleaner wrasse, prazi pro works great but if you don't have any on hand not point on waiting and risking other fish.
