    The skimmer shouldn't remove copper. If you dosed and you show no copper on a test kit, either you didn't put copper in, or the test kit is bad. Copper shouldn't "go bad". Unless you have carbon or other media running somewhere. I use an ammonia alert on my qt.

    I just lost a Kole Tang in my QT as well. I couldn't get him to eat anything (seaweed, brine, mysis, pellets, flakes, garlic soaked) and he slowly withered away.
