    Default Help on choosing LED's

So I am converting my 72 gallon bowfront FOWLR into a reef tank and need to upgrade the lights. I'm pretty set on LED's and found some good deals on Amazon. I figured on the first two that I would need to buy 2 of them to cover the whole tank and they have really good reviews regarding coral growth.

One of my questions is if I go with the panels they have 2 options for the lights colors. Blue and white or the full spectrum with blue, white, red, yellow and green. Which is the better way to go? I'm planning on just hanging them from the ceiling, how high off the water would they need to be? Does anyone see some unforeseen problems? Thanks in advance everyone this will be my first reef tank so any feedback is appreciated!

I would skip all of those and go with some of the better budget leds from reef radiance or..... I cannot remember the brand....

    Some one will chime in

Alright I took your advice and ordered 2 of the Ocean Revive Arctic T247. Looks like a good inexpensive light with really high reviews in other forums so I'm going to give it a shot.

So I got my LEDs in today and have them hanging about 10 inches over my 72 bowfront. I'm not sure how long to run the each channel for. I have the bulb and channel layout pasted down below if any one can help me out. The tank just got converted to a reef tank today (I had to say goodbye to a couple of my favorite fish) and this is my first experience with LEDs so any help is greatly appreciated.
