last resort. another member just stated best pump for the cash.
from what i have read on the jebao , they are just steps behind vortech .
yes they are big. but with the questions you have asked seems like your on a budget.
tunze are expensive and and the #4 hydor is more than the jebao.
it is all a matter of opinion and how much you want to spend.
tunze powerful wide flow
vortech wide powerful flow best out there imo but cost a lot
hydor decent flow just as big as the jebao med flow pattern

Well said dude...
I will never run a hydor in a tank.... You need to have no less than 4 in a tank my size to have no dead spots....
2 mp40s fixed that... But was alot of loot...
Ive never owned a tunze... So i wont comment on them..
The jebaos are what i would be buying if i was setting up a reef and on a strict budget..
ReeF mafiA
i had hydor but then i was running a closed loop with a sequence dart pump. that alone was a lot of flow

It's for a 40b so the tunze would be either a 6015 or a 6025.

WPs is a good combination of features and cost. If you're on a budget then it will be your best bet.

Tunze 6085 for a budget. Tunze 6055 or 6095 to do it right with a single pump controller. Vortech MP 10 works well too.
40 Gallon Breeder on Steroids!!!
Where You'll Find An Acan, Dendro, and Orange Ricordea Garden In Bloom.
MJ1200 with modded flow is another cheap way to go too. It's has plenty of flow and does not take a lot of real estate either. That pet place was having a sale on the Mj1200 Pro for $18.
Reefing is just like cooking, all the ingredients have to be just right , except you don't have to bring the water to a BOIL...
