    Default Tinker's Butterfly

Does anyone have any experience with a Tinker's Butterfly fish (Chaetodon tinkeri). Are they reefsafe and are they hard to keep alive ie feeding hardiness?

They are on my "maybe" list. But I don't have corals in this tank. As far as I know, the only butterfly that could possibly be considered reef safe is a copperband. In looking at Live Aquaria, this one is pretty much a no-no.

We have had long nose butterfly in our reef for years who have been fine, but we feed heavily. They are reported to be hit or miss, as are copperbands. There are no guarantees, as even normally reef safe fish (Like tangs) are sometimes reported to graze on corals.

My copperband didnt pick at anything in my tank... I was hoping he went for the aptasia but chose tube worms and feather dusters instead....

Idk why he croaked on me, he was eating good.... I found him under my tube anemone so idk if he had any fault...
