I have never seen this anywhere and can't find it on the Internet. It has grown on a rock pretty much in the dark has arms that look like individual feathers. Does not retract when touched. Deep Blue in color with a dark green/blue on the underside. Really kind of pretty just don't know if it is bad for the tank.

Could it be a feather starfish?

I think scutterborn recently found one in his tank that just appeared out of the blue.
