Green and Yellow Bubble Gum Chalice
I recently purchased a Bubble gum chalice from Reef Freaks ( great deal thanks for the deals ). Learning that the bubblegum chalice, I believe is an encrusting type of chalice. Looking for a way to encourage it to plate rather than encrust. Any suggestions??

With my livestock I was never able to maintain chalices on the sandbed. I put them on a shelf LR. Once you find the perfect spot let them grow and dont move them and they will grow. I have spots where bubblegum monster likes one spot but the alien eye dont like the same spot. Alien eye likes LED while bubblegum likes t5. Mine are starting to plate out and not encrust.
happy reefing
