    Default water change question

I made some RODI water for my work tank and brought it to work on Monday. I havent done the water change yet so I was wondering if the water should still be good if I do the water change tomorrow? Its in a water container without a pump in it for circulation. When does it start to go bad if it does?

It is fine and will be fine as long as it's sealed. I store 5 gal pre-made jugs for weeks at a time. Obviously you will want to get a heater in there and match your display tank temp before doing the change.

RODI water doesn't need circulation. Mixed salt water does. If left out to open air it can begin to grow microbes (slimey stuff).

ya i start mixing in the morning and with the pump i use it heats the water to where i need it. I just didnt want to use the water if it was going to mess anything up becuase i left it sitting there. It does have a screw on lid

We have left salted water in a coveted brute with a pump and heater for more than a week and it was fine. Just so long as it gas movement and doesn't sit stagnant.
