Acclimating new tank with current corals/fish. What should my first steps be???
I am going to be receiving my new acrylic tank from reefone hopefully within the week. Since my previous tank leaked two awesome Maast members Eric and Jessie came to the rescue and have been holding the remaining living coral fish and rock.
With consideration to the fact my fish are cooped up in Eric's sump for the last 2 weeks and respect to my two care takers tanks I would like to make this transition quick but safe at the same time or the care they have given would be pointless. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have 35-50 something pounds of established live rock jessie is caring for which are covered in zoas so I am skeptical of throwing it in on the first day.
I have 100 lbs plus dead life rock and 60-100 labs dead sand. Have kept some covered in a bucket with a pump but not sure what that would do.
Does anyone have active healthy live sand and or rock?
Should I be mixing my water now and throw in my dead rock/sand and run skimmer with a light on top of trash can?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated .
