    Default ATO solution

I'm looking for input on an ATO solution for a frag tank. The tank is going to sit in a room right above my garage. I keep RO/DI water in a brute in the garage. What I'd like to do is pump water up from the garage to the frag tank. Currently, I'm thinking about expanding my Apex and have it control the top off for the tank. My thought was to have a couple of float valves in the tank and have the Apex control a dosing pump (like a BRS type) that will pump water until the float valve is lifted. Can anyone think of a better solution? Do you think the BRS dosing pumps would handle the head pressure? They're rated for 20' so I would think it'd be fine. Also, would you run the pump where it's pulling the water up (so run it next to the tank) or pushing the water up (running it next to the brute)?

Just don't have a float valve in the Brute AND in the tank. You want to limit the amount of water than can dump on the floor or dilute your tank...

Good advice. I do have a float valve in my brute but I still have to turn the water on. It's mostly to stop the water if I forget to. Sadly, my frag tank is only going to be 20g so it's not going to take much to dilute it.
