    Just found this little guy in the middle of the road. Can't fly and is very weak...anyone know anything about baby birds??ImageUploadedByTapatalk1372544651.623077.jpg

    I remember trying to raise one back to health as a kid and not have any luck. I can't remember what we tried to feed it, but it was something you can get at a grocery store. You might try a feed store as well. They may have something for baby chickens that would work or at least steer you in the right direction.

    Ok I'll check it out. I watched him for a bit just to see if his mama was coming to feed him. No luck :( hopefully he will be ok

    Usually when u find them like this they are either thrown from the nest purposely because they are weak and have some sort of disease check and see if it will take water or u can feed it frozen blood worms also

    Just be careful ..birds are prone to be infected

    Ok. It's a baby swallow from what I can tell. Thus mushy wet dog food should suffice. 2 weeks till he can fly away. U will have to force feed :-/

    Cool. I fed him wet dog food last night and had to force feed :/ but I was able to take him to a wildlife resume and rehab center this morning
