    Default LED optics question

So I'm about to order an LED fixture and wanted to ask here about what optics I should go with. I have a standard 90 tank that is 24in deep. I can choose from 120 degree or 90 degree optics. Since I will eventually be running 2 of these should I do the 90 degree so that it penetrates te water deeper?

Another questions is what kelvin for the whites I should go with. They have anywhere from 3200K to 25,000K. I run a 14K MH bulb right now and like the color but am not sure the LEDs will be the same.

Chimming in here 90 degree optics work great for 24" tanks a 120 degree optic isn't what u want it will give u a wider coverage but less light penetration if u where using cree leds thst would be different also for kelvins I believe that is tje way the human eye percieves light u should be looking for the par that the fixture produces
