    Nice...once the drains and ball valve are dialed in there should be no bubbles coming from the drains and complete silence will take over. Mine had a few bubbles for a week or so while the slime coat was forming. Keep in mind when you are aquascaping it will change the balance and for a few minutes you will see bubbles and hear the drains.

    Just started adding the salt and then the aqua scraping begins tomorrow. I am planning on a two island view. The protein skimmer will be turned on tomorrow after the rocks go in. When should I add a shrimp?

    don't do the dead shrimp cycle waste of time, I would get some nitrifying bacteria from lfs and add a couple fish. just make sure your all your filtration Is online. microbacter , dr Tim's one and only, fritz. just call around see what lfs has it

    Quick shot of where its currently at. Not sure I'm ready to start loading it up with corals just yet. I had a diatom outbreak that lasted longer than expected.
