Default SPS - too much flow?

Is it possible to have too much flow for SPS? I have two MP10s in my Nuvo 38. They're turned down and not on full blast but there's still A LOT of flow. The gorgonian I added seems to love it so far. I don't have any SPS yet because I'm waiting for the tank to settle and stabilize.

Hard to say. My SPS love it in direct flow from the MP40. I decided I need an SPS only tank so I can go all out on flow without ticking off my LPS.

You'll only have problems if the acros are right near the wetside. The flow right near the impellers can strip the skin right off the branches.

This happened to me. Had a K4 turned directly at a large green sps colony.... Stripped the skin right off the entire side facing the power head.
