Rock scraping

I am wanting to put some rocks together with some mortar can I use the mortar from Home Depot in my saltwater tank?

I have not used it, but I believe a lot of people on here that do this, use E-Marco. Marco Rocks sells it.

I wouldn't. The mortar that we have been talking abut on here is a completely different formula.
If you use a regular mortar you will have to cure it and there will still be a chance that you will see many water quality and parameter issues.
