Laptop repair?

Do we have anyone here on MAAST that does laptop repairs? I need a new keyboard on my Dell laptop. Had a minor spill, now I have sticky keys (eww). The laptop is still working just fine, but the sticking keys are getting on my nerves. I'm coming down to SA in January, and I would just as soon pay one of our members to work on it, at least I will know the person who is doing the repairs.

Im interested in knowing this as well. I cracked my lcd screen on my dell laptop, and I prefer using the laptop over a tablet

There's a few folks that I know deal with the software aspect, not sure about the hardware.

Shouldn't be hard to replace the keyboard, no idea about the Screen though. I've got to replace the keyboard on my son's laptop. There are a few screws on the back that have a keyboard symbol on it, and a few tabs hidden under plastic that when removed gives you access to the last of the restraining screws.

Thanks Allan. I'd rather someone else do it, I tend to get mad and break plastic stuff (like little plastic tabs) when it thwarts me. Kinda defeats the whole purpose. I've got the new keyboard, just need someone to install it.
