I hate them. I have my lights off and my SPS is dying because of it. I'd run my PH high but there's nothing like scraping precipitate off your glass. I always think it's cyano at first, then I see the stringy texture after it's out of hand.![]()

I keep this one handy these days. It's always good to go back and review your problem no matter how long you've been doing this. Sometimes it's little things you forget that can help out drastically. Off to run some O3 do a little slurry. A couple of TBSP in my tank raises my PH approximately .14 and I think right now it's in the high 7s.

I did 3 days of lights off and then 3 days on. I removed as much as I could manually. But it wasn't until I took BSJF's advice to stop doing water changes, that I had any luck getting rid of them.
I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.
