Reactors

Picked up two reactors this week. Not sure what to run in them yet. GFO, Bio pellets or maybe Carbon. Any tips or recommendations ?

what kind of reactors.... you cant run pellets in just any reactor, you can mod them to work but still not the best way

Its the Phosban 150 reactors by two little fishes. The folks at marine depot sent the screens to mod them for bio pellets.

just use a ball valve to control tumble and use a good pump, i love my sicce pumps i own one of every size up to the 4 lol. do you have phosphate problems then run gfo, bio pellets dont take all phos out. if you give me a week or two, im getting a phos checker from hanna and im going to run tests on the bio pearls and take my gfo offline and see what they really do with phos.

Let me know how it works for you. For now I will just run one with gfo. And maybe add the second one later with bio. What brand of gfo are you using.

I use the high capacity from brs, get it at ER.
