    Lol
I will no longer joke about cyano!

Got a bad taste of my own medicine..... Think it was just the lower volume of water change.. Did a bigger one this week and it seemed to help, doing another good sized one this week..

I was a bit surprised at just how bland coral looks in regular sunlight while I was in Hawaii.

I made an assumption that most of the coral would look drastically different under specific wavelengths.

I always liked the clean crisp look of 20k MH bulbs, when I had the T5 set up I couldn't stand the overpowering purple or blue look that I got. Of course that was due to my choice in bulbs, but it speaks to a desire to have that crisp white look, tinged with a light blue that causes the coral to pop.

Tony, me either... About joking about cyano. I'm not sure what I'm doing right this time but my cyano seems to be at zero... Of course now that I've said it...

    Lol....

Well where I think I went wrong is by cutting back on my water changes, from 30 gallons bi weekly to 10 weekly. Tank didn't like it.... Going to do 20 a week then eventually back to 30 bi weekly...

    I do 20 gallons a week.

I have done two of them this week because I'm slowly taking out the rubble rock and I figured that it would help combat any swing in the tank parameters.

where are full tank shots "led guys". also any of you guys with 2 foot wide tanks can you place high light coral in back and front of tank? I have my blue milli in back against glass and stuff up front with no problems.

Yes sir. lol With my LEDs I have frag racks hanging off the side and high to help sps acclimate to the 6x2 125RR frag tank. My heatsinks are 20"x8" and I am in control of the spread with the Lenses. Led is a very clean light. You have many light angles lenses to work with the LEDs 40, 60, 80, 120, . . . and all the light intensity is adjustable. The Future is here.
Of course it also depends on height above the tank. Your shopping around arent you? I dont blame you one bit. It would be nice to see LEDs over your tank.

I would like to add that I am in control of each LEDs angle.
