    Default Ipad/iPhone person needed.

I'm running into some issues getting my laptop, iPhone, and ipad to play nice with each other. Anyone on the forum with experience in dealing with apple products that would be willing to lend a hand? I'm getting mad, and that never helps anything. Photostream is locking up my laptop and is NOT behaving as it should. Anyone?

What IOS are you running on each?

Sometimes issues stream from not having everything up to date with the current OS. I know my parents computer will not communicate via cloud with their older ipod. This could be an issue

I'm running the latest version itunes, and the latest os version for the iphone4 and the ipad2.

I'm really getting irritated with this. I can sync using itunes, but I want to be able to stream my pics to the phone and the ipad. Grrrrrr..............

Could it be just your laptop that's running slow? Let me guess, PC?

I have noticed sometimes that when I am loading pics to my Mac it does take a little while, a couple of minutes if I have a good amount of photos.... And it locks up for a minute but once it reads them it frees up..... But I can imagine how annoying it would be on a PC that is running slow...

If you want them to sync automatically, which I never do cause I have too many photos...

When you have your iPad or phone connected to the computer... Go into iTunes and select which ever is connected. Go into the photo tab within the menu and select which folders you want to sync on the phone or iPad...

You have to do that for each product....

there is a way to do it using iCloud, but I have yet to mess with it.

I'm trying to make photostream work so I don't have to connect with iTunes every time I want to transfer something. Photostream is supposed to work wireless so I don't have to tether to the computer. But right now it's not working at all.

In tunes you have to set up what files you want to sync... Then set up iCloud on your phone and iPod.

Might want to try setting up iCloud on your iPhone and pad.
