I just placed my order with Ultimarc. I got a Mag stik plus, an IPAC-2 the mounting hardware for both, and six buttons for controls, and a single or two player set of buttons.

This looks too easy to set up, no need to solder since the IPAC 2 uses screws, and plugs into USB. I'm going to pick up the desk after work. It's height is adjustable, which is perfect! I'm going to remove the top of the desk so I can mount the stick and buttons, I am hoping that will be the hardest part.

I may do this for my second project. I think it cost the guy under 300 dollars to build, probably more like 4 or 5, if I had to guess.
