    Default LEDS LIGHTS

Need some LEDs for my 125g 72in. tank. Where should I look or is anyone selling them. But what's a good website to look at them and compare, or a good brand to get. Want to get rid of my t5 and halide light to get LEDSTks for the advice

Well, that's an entire debate in itself.

You first need to decide if you want to go retail or DIY. You may have more options with DIY and can save some money, but you will have to put in the research and time to build your fixtures. There are plenty other threads on here and RC about LEDs, I really don't want to type out all the different variables there are in choosing/using LEDs again.

DIY if you want to save some $$$

Ai Vega or radion(with upgraded lens) if you have a little money to spare and want everything built in and programmable through a laptop or phone... With AI or ecotech there CS is top notch in case of problems and parts are usually available..

I have 3 Ai'S sol blues on a 60" Tank so you should be able to get away with 4.... That would be the cheapest route, if you can find some used sol blues... But I would leave the T5s on with the sols if I could... That's just me.

Did you like your kit? I have been considering getting the retro fit kit for th Biocube. I just have never seen one in action, and don't want to wast 300 dollars.

Yes, love it. Tech Support at Rapid LED is good too. You will need a good soldering iron, a multimeter and patience.

I was looking at the no solder kite, however, I have one just in case. Thanks.
